SIGNAL 304 is a two bands pocket radio, in medium and long waves, with a mechanical clock and can be used as radio alarm also.

On the front side, there are two concentric ring controls: the biggest external ring is the tuning knob, the smallest ring (that is around of the clock) is the radio alarm setting.

On the right of the radio there is power switch / volume knob and a small black knob which is used to wind up and set the clock.

On the left side there is jack for earphones while in the rear of the radio you can see: band sliding switch, another switch which is used to enable the radio alarm and aerial socket. 

The radio is powered by a 9 V battery.

     1)     Open the radio, remove the PCB and disassemble the big ring tuning knob.  

          

 

2)     Lock the shaft of the clock with a pliers and unscrew the little black knob (it's a right hand screw).

 

3)     Unscrew the two screws that secure the clock and remove the same from the front of the radio.
